Position: Beauty Salon Manager

Minu Threading is hiring a Beauty Salon Manager who has the relevant experience and a very good knowledge of eyebrow threading technique with other additional qualifications. The position is offered full-time at our Store in Perth. The candidate should maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism and safe practice throughout the business. We take health and safety requirements very seriously and therefore, maintaining these standards is a crucial part of the role as a Beauty Salon Manager at Minu Threading. Strong customer service skills and the ability to lead a team are strongly desired for this role.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Organise and control the operations of the salon:
  – Arrange and schedule customer appointments
  – Attend to beauty treatment requirements of customers
  – Sell beauty products and services to customers and advise on product use

• Select, train and supervise the staff

• Ensure merchandise is well presented to enhance the Salon’s image and increase sales.

• Selling and promoting loyalty cards, gift vouchers and beauty products.

• Ensure the salon premises, fixtures and fittings are cleaned and well maintained.

• Manage cash handling and bank reconciliation

• Ensure compliance and occupational health and safety regulations

• Access and check the quality of service, particularly threading performed by staff

• Ensure salon performs to meet the weekly budget

• Ensure stock levels & maintain inventory

• Assist in rostering staff with close communication with management

• Attend and hold meetings when required

• Maintain social media updates and advertising on a regular basis

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of eyebrow threading technique and minimum 2 years’ experience as a Salon Manager
2. Strong customer focus and the ability to build client relationships
3. Good verbal communication skills and the ability to lead a team
4. Previous experience tracking budget expenses
5. The ability to train new staff and roster management
6. Our industry changes and evolves regularly so keeping up to date with these changes and adjusting our practices accordingly are crucial

Position: Beauty Therapist

Reporting to: Beauty Salon Manager

Minu Threading is hiring a Beauty Therapist who has experience primarily in Eyebrow Threading and secondary experience in Eyebrow Tinting, Brazilian Waxing, Ayurveda Facials, and Henna Tattoo Art. The position is offered full-time at our Store in Karratha. Minu Threading is looking for a candidate that has a very good knowledge of eyebrow threading technique with a certificate in Beauty Therapy. The candidate should maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism and safe practice throughout the business.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Eyebrow Threading & Full face hair removal

• Eyebrow & lash tinting services

• Waxing and Brazilian

• Make up application and sale

• Perform manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, nail infills

• False eyelash and eyelash extension application

• Perform facial and/or body massage

• Lash Lifting and Perming

• Ensure salon area is presentable at all times

• Fulfill other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Relevant certificate in Beauty Therapy
2. Practical salon experience of 1+ year is required for this role
3. Committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels: Phone, email and in-person
4. Strong attention to detail skills
5. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely when dealing with other staff and clients
6. Willingness to work as a part of a team and assist other staff where needed
